Zack-Attack is getting stuff done
Our "baby" boy is growing so fast and is still an absolute joy. He smiles as soon as anyone makes eye contact with him and likes to spend time in his exersaucer now. We also started him on baby food and so far he has had carrots, sweet potatoes, and peas. He likes it all! And he is sitting without any support for long periods of time now, although he sometimes still tumbles over and doesn't know how to get back up yet. Needless to say - those are moments when he is not smiling. We had the Vissers and Montoyas visiting us this past weekend and we had a great time. The dads got to play golf and the moms went out shopping. The kids in the picture are watching Kung Fu Panda (Josh, Marli, Danni, Aiden, Liam).

A summer Christmas
We had a fantastic time in South Africa. We spent 4 days in Johannesburg visiting with friends and family. The boys got to meet their great grandmother and experience their first highveld thunderstorm. We drove down to the South Coast of KZN where we spent Christmas in glorious sunshine and warmth. On the drive down we stopped at all the Shell Ultra Cities so that Aiden and Zack could see the ostriches, camels, and other interesting animals. We also made the compulsory stop at Nando's in Harrismith. Except for one day, Aiden and Gavin managed to swim at least once every day. New Year was spent in Cape Town with more friends and family. Aiden had a really good time getting to know all his cousins and Zack just simply enjoyed all the attention he received. Upon our return home it was quite a shock to have the California winter decend on us overnight and with the jetlag, it took us about a week to find our feet again. But it was so worth it! Od did we mention that the SA cricket team beat the Aussies while we were there? Twice!
