Sonoma Weekend

The Harvetts & Montoyas enjoyed an active weekend in Sonoma wine country. We rented a nice house on a farm just outside Sebastopol and on Saturday morning enjoyed a tour of the farm, it's horses, chickens (whose eggs we had for breakfast), goats, vegetable gardens, etc. We were even treated to some ice cream made from the goats' milk.

On Saturday afternoon the dads and big boys went to Infineon Raceway for some NASCAR racing action. We watched a 64-lap race, and Aiden & Josh seemed to have longer attention spans than last year... they could sit still for about 3 laps at a time ;-)

On Sunday morning we visited a few wineries and fortunately the ones we picked had decent dirt, rocks, bugs and wine making implements that kept the kids occupied and out of trouble. On our way home we decided that now would be a good time to transition Zack from his crib into his big-boy-bed, especially since we are expecting quite a few visitors and will go camping a lot this summer. As I write this blog post Zack is soundly asleep in his own bed for the first time. His fathers day gift to me!
