It was like old times, visiting with our neighbours in Mountain View this past weekend. The
Peikert's are visiting from Atlanta, GA and we stayed at the Pollock's new home in Mountain View and spend time with little 2 month old Zoe.
Aiden and Clara are just as cute a couple as they were 18 months ago and it was wonderful to meet little 4 month old Lucy. We were able to swim at our old apartment complex and the boys are really becoming little fish in the water.
Aiden was super impressed that Andrew had a
Wii and he did not want to leave on Sunday. I think playing video games trumps everything for him.
The Svendsen's joined us for a beach camping trip. When we left home, it was 103F (40 C) and 2 1/2 hours later, it was a foggy 60 F (15 C). But that made perfect sandcastle building weather and it warmed up in the afternoon to a wonderful 80 F (27 C). The boys loved getting super sandy and then washing clean in the super cold water.
Doug, Heidi and their two boys visited us from Colorado this past weekend. We have not seen them in 18 months and it was great to catch up and see how our boys play together.
