Camping in Bodega Bay

The Svendsen's joined us for a beach camping trip. When we left home, it was 103F (40 C) and 2 1/2 hours later, it was a foggy 60 F (15 C). But that made perfect sandcastle building weather and it warmed up in the afternoon to a wonderful 80 F (27 C). The boys loved getting super sandy and then washing clean in the super cold water.
It was our first camping trip with both boys sleeping in the "big bed" and we all had a peaceful and cozy night.
